Joel hails from Australia. As a teenager he loved listening to his fathers music collection which included classic blues artists as Muddy waters, Howlin' Wolf, Rory Gallagher, Roy Buchanan, Johnny Winters and the heavy hitters such as Zeppelin. He spent much of his time in Indie and folk bands, but his heart always returned to the blues and rock

Micheal started playing the bass in 1976 when he and his friends decided to be rock stars when they grow up. A few months later he joined his first and which became a glam rock band signed to a small label. In the 80's he played in Punk, rockabilly and Glam Rock bands. He moved to Berlin in 2023 and formed a blues rock band with Joel. In 2025, he and Joel formed The Barrellhouse Syndicate with Alex.

Alex has played with various bands in different styles such as jazz, rock, folk, Latin, and blues. Originally from Santiago Chile, he has lived in Barcelona and Berlin. He has given numerous concerts across Europe and Chile. He is also a music producer, sound designer and music teacher.
